Marina Romero / Founding partner
Civil Engineer from UPM (Polytechnic University of Madrid), with postgraduate studies in management at IESE Business School and at IEB (Institute of Stock Market Studies). Her professional experience includes technical management positions within consulting and management in the real estate and construction sector. In 2001, she became a pioneer of digitalization within the construction and property sectors and, for several years, led the Spanish operations of ATVIEW, the multinational. Since then, she has had management roles in other property companies such as Monteverde Real Estate and ACS, looking after projects to the value of 1.000 M euros. During the recession, she developed and oversaw a number of different management and marketing platforms for over 10,000 repossessed properties throughout Spain. In recent years, she has developed a mediation programme for solving disputes arising from evictions and repossessions as part of her clients´ Corporate Social Responsibility offering.
Javier Hernández / Founding partner
Bachelor´s Degree in Economics from Madrid´s Autónoma University, and with more than 25 years of professional experience in the real estate sector. During the 90s he helped set up the real estate consultancy areas of Lar Group and Aguirre Newman in Spain working for the first funds that invested in our country. Since then, he has held general management positions in several of the major companies in the sector: Parquesol, taking part in the company’s IPO, as well as in the investment of 1,200 M euros in real estate assets in Spain and France and in the further divestment of 2,000 M euros; and in Naropa Capital, with more than 900 M euros managed in real estate assets with an income of over 40 million euros, in Spain, Portugal, France and Switzerland.
Paloma Romero Bueno / CFO
With various degrees in Business Administration specialized in Finance and Auditing from an array of prestigious univerities and institutions such as ; C.U.N.E.F ( colegio universitario de estudios financieros ) and Postgraduate studies at the Complutense University of Madrid, University of Nebrija, INSEM Business School and AFI school of finance and her 20 plus years of experience in the real estate, financial and service sectors has made her one of the top managers in her areas.
Having started her career at KPMG Auditors as an auditor in the finance sector for seven years and reaching the position of Audit Manager gave her an incredible amount of detail oriented experience. After her time at KPMG she joined Monteverde Grupo Inmobiliario as the FINANCIAL DIRECTOR managing all assets and branches of the company in Spain, France, and the U.K. with a total value of over one billion Euros. During the years of the recession she specialized in creditor agreements, negotiations and the restructuring of companies facing insolvency or bankruptcy in different areas of business.
Having joined Ahora Asset Management in 2018 as CFO of the company she has been able to apply all of her past work experience with great success and ease contributing to the success of the company.
Manuel Enrich / Chief Investor Relations Officer (CIRO)
Bachelor in Science of Business Administration, major in Economics, from the University of Denver, Colorado. MBA “With Honors” from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. With over 30 year experience in Investor Relations, Mr. Enrich has been Director of Equities and Investor Relations in Bankinter, Founder and Chairman of Link Securities, first independent broker member of the Madrid Stock Exchange. He served as Director of Strategy and Investor Relations at Parquesol Inmobiliaria. Before joining AAM he was Director of Investor Relations in Sareb, responsible, among other things, of the IPO of Sareb´s REIT, Tempore Properties. He is the Chairman of the Spanish Association of Investor Relations (AERI) and member of the Editorial Council of Iberian Property.
Ravi Lachmandas / Chief Operating Officer
Law degree and Bachelor of Business Administration, both from the University of Leicester. With over 10 years of experience in the investor and servicing sector, Ravi started his career in the finance and collections departments of large Multinational corporations such as Citibank and Nike, before moving into the servicing sector where he has successfully led teams in both the NPL and Real Estate areas. Ravi has managed and coordinated teams on the loan side, covering performing, sub performing and non-performing loans as well as having coordinated teams in real estate. His vast experience in this sector covers various tenures at different servicers, of all sizes.in which he has worked as Head of Real estate, Associate Director of Real estate and Director of Asset Management. Ravi and his teams have successfully managed a total of over 7,000 M euros of AUM and over 15,000 assets during this time. Ravi has been the liaison between the investor and the servicer, which has proven invaluable to understanding the ins and outs of the servicing and investor sector. Ravi recently joined Ahora Asset Management as COO in 2020.
